Whirlwind of Life

Through this sculpture I am expressing my view of life. To some the Dragonfly represents life. Some of us are larger than life some are not, all of us mixed together in different shapes and sizes create a whirlwind of life.

Arc of Peace

Peace is not necessarily the absence of war, or something that we need to fight for. Instead it is something that we create with our intentions and sent out into the world through our actions and interactions with each other.

Messenger

What does “Messenger” mean to you? Today when we hear the word messenger most think of the app used to communicate with the world. But if we look up from our social media for just a second…We may realize we are missing the real message? This “Angel Messenger” is hand forged solid iron, its body and wings traditionally joined together with rivets.

Day's Catch

This is a sculpture I created after a successful summer fishing trip in Nebraska a few years back. The family was fishing on a boat at a lake in Nebraska and at the end of the day my son Shiv hauled out the fish from the boat to the shore. The excitement and pride on his face was epic and the haul was much bigger than his small 10 years old form.

Kangaroos

This proud mom is 5’ tall and spring loaded. She has leaf spring feet and thighs with coil springs in them. The gray material is cut from salvaged equipment door panels.

Delicate Breeze

I call this iron sculpture Delicate Breeze. For the fact it is made of hard iron but looks like it is softly moving in the wind.

Music is the spirit of life, natural or man-made. It invokes the power in you, giving you hope and strength to move on.

His Horse Is Crazy

This bronze sculpture represents my interpretation of the bond between the horse, the man and his name. Thasunjke Witko is a Lakota translation of Crazy Horse, which literally translates to “His Horse is Crazy.” Crazy Horse was an Oglala Lakota Leader and lives on.

Shepherd

“Shepherd” is returning to his flock with the lost lamb. Although he is being ravaged by the gale, his face is the picture of tranquility from the joy of saving this lost one. Kind acts are their own reward.

Radiance

When creating this sculpture the glowing light emitted from the faceted center shinning outward with colors inspired me to call it RADIANCE.
